How Cegid Retail's solutions contribute to the conquest of the international expansion?
Changing and adapting in retail remains vital. Without open and scalable technology, you can’t expect to remain competitive and ensure your staff and stores can evolve with the times.
L’Oréal has deployed Cegid Retail in its stores and to act as a central hub across 14 of its cosmetics and beauty brands:
"Tech is not a barrier, but a business lever when it allows open exchange,” says Koller.
As for TAO, which relies on the Cegid Retail unified commerce platform as its "sole entry point", the childrenswear retailer also implemented Cegid Retail MPOS for in-store mobility.
This allows staff to manage all omnichannel business processes directly on mobile devices: such as serving customers and checking loyalty offers without them having to pass through the checkout.
To help retailers accelerate the transformation of their stores, Cegid recently launched Cegid Retail Live Store, a new generation of omnichannel and collaborative applications for stores designed to make things easier and improve agility and connectivity.
It works on all types of terminals (fixed or mobile POS, on Windows, Android and IOS), relieves congestion at tills and streamlines customer journeys in stores.
Some retailers can struggle at busy times, including a popular theme park and store at The ZooParc de Beauval in France, which welcomes around 1.5 million visitors a year. So it chose the new solution as soon as it was was announced:
“Integration of the Cegid Retail Live Store solution will allow us to eliminate various in-store problems related to peaks in activity - especially at the end of the day when people leave the park. This will help us to capture new sales opportunities,” explains Sylvain Spodar, IT Director at ZooParc.
ZooParc staff will be able to check-out customers using mobile devices and considerably reduce congestion and waiting times at the till, avoiding lost sales.
Only a few months after its release, other brands have chosen Cegid Retail Live Store, including YellowKorner, Courir and Picture Organic Clothing.
